Lakers Fall 8 Spots in USCHO Poll
The Oswego State men's ice hockey team dropped from the top spot in USCHO's latest division III poll. The Lakers are ranked #9, falling eight spots from the pre-season poll. Oswego State (1-2-1) came into the 2007-08 season with sole possession of the #1 ranking for the first time in program history. 2006 NCAA runner-up Middlebury is the nation's new #1. The Panthers have yet to play this season.
Elmira (3-0-1) and Plattsburgh (5-0-0) both passed the Lakers in the poll. They rise to #8 and #5, respectively.
