Oswego Finishes up 6 game road trip tonight in Cortland

Tonight the 6 game road trip for the Lakers comes to an end as they head to Alumni Arena in Cortland to take on the Red Dragons. A lot has changed for OSU heading into this weekend as the team is now ranked #2 in the nation in the latest D III National Polls. The line of Eric Selleck, Justin Fox, and Chris Laganier are number 1, 2, and 3 in the nation is scoring. The teams played twice last year with Oswego taking both games. The first was at Alumni Arena on Halloween with the lakers taking it by a score of 6-1. Goals were provided by Brendan McLaughlin, Hank Van Boxmeer, Matt Whitehead with 2, and Eric Selleck with 2. Chris Hyk got the win making 30 saves. Then the next meeting was January 24 at the Campus Center with the same results a 5-2 win for the Lakers. Goals came from Rich Zalewski (Shorthanded) Chris Laganier, Andrew Mather, and 2 from Ryan Ellis. Tim Potter was between the pipes and allowed 2 goals on 23 shots. Oswego leads the all time season series with a record of 58-8-1.
