Oswego came into Buffalo State tonight in front of a crowd of 730 people the Oswego State Lakers dominated the Buffalo State Bengals for most of the game. Oswego jumped out to a 1-0 lead at the 15 minute mark on a goal by Eric Selleck his 2nd of the season. Then less than 3 minutes later Stephen Mallaro got in on the act with his first goal of the year. 2nd period starts and 3:30 in the lakers increase their lead to 3-0 on Luke Moodie's first of the season. The lead gets streached to 4-0 2 minutes later on Michael Gilchrists 1st college goal. The shutout bid was lost at 16:07 when Nick Petrello beat Paul Beckwith to bust the shutout bid and make the score 4-1 which is the way the game would end. Beckwith faced 25 shots and allowed only 1 goal while his counterpart Alan Fritch allowed 4 goals on 34 starts. Jared Anderson missed another game tonight due to a shoulder injury and now it appears that Kevin Huinink may miss tomorrows game too. Huinink was given a 5 minute boarding major and a game misconduct in the 3rd period for a hit along the boards late in the game. Whether Huinink plays tomorrow is still in question but the ruling will come down by game time tomorrow night in Fredonia.
