Kids can be quite impressionable in their formative years. Your voice of the Lakers was no different. I saw the film Celtic Pride when I was 12. It starred Dan Akroyd and Daniel Stern as a pair of bean-town crazies who were die-hard for everything Boston.
This movie had a profound and lasting effect on me. Upon seeing it, I ceased rooting for the Bulls and became a Knicks fan. Then after further thought, I also became a 76ers fan seeing as how they were once the Syracuse Nationals. Both of these franchises are god-awful, and that is why I now hate Celtic Pride, Dan Akroyd, Daniel Stern, pride in general, and films.
However, I still root for locals in all events and A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila is no exception. That is why I would now like to officially endorse Bobby from Worchester, NY.
Ladies, nobody can fall short of satisfying your needs like an upstate guy. True, unlike our downstate counterparts we tend to treat you with respect and generally refrain from calling you skank, slut or bitch. Also, we don't typically rock that ever-so-stylish Gotti blowout hairstyle.
But please try not to hold that against us. Apparently, Tila Tequila doesn't. She dumped Jersey Boy Ryan last night, leaving the competition down to Bobby and two chicks (forgot to mention, this show is like The Bachelorette, only The Bachelorette is a reformed whore who swings both ways and is all tatted up with ink...and may not be all that reformed).
So please, lend your support to Upstate Bobby (pictured) as he puts his testosterone up against a double dose of estrogen in this handicapped love battle (Note: handicapped refers to the 1-on-2 disadvantage that Bobby faces, not the show's viewers, your confusion is understood). He is not faring well at this point. During Tila's trip to his hometown, Bobby took Tila on a bowling date then to his house where his mother all but called Tila a tramp. Momma Upstate Bobby, you are blowing this for all of us.
Bobby also provided the quote of the season, perhaps the greatest quote of all reality shows during episode six. Check it out below.

Celtic Pride sucks.
I didn't know where Worchester, NY was until the home town date. Way to represent Upstate, Bobby!
Classic quote, too! That was awesome.
Way to ruin the episode for me, which I DVR'd and haven't watched yet! I didn't know your sports blog would ruin "A Shot at Love" for me!
And this show is like a train wreck - I can't help but tune in week after week. It's almost as bad as "I Love NY", but not quite. :o)
